Sonas Home Health Care is a leading provider of in-home care services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care with compassion and integrity. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team of caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care activities, including assistance with hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfer, as assigned by the Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, sleeping, and living areas.
  • Measure intake and output of fluids, and measure temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
  • Keep records of personal health care activities.
  • Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient or client, reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in home care is preferred.
  • Current, valid Florida CNA license OR 40-75 hour Home Health Aide Certificate.
  • Current BLS CPR Certification (obtained in-person, not online).
  • TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF).
  • Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed).
  • 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website).
  • Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication CEU (minimum of 2 hours).
  • HIV/AIDs CEU.
