Job DescriptionAt The Learning Experience #325, we're seeking a skilled Preschool Cook to join our team. As an ambassador of happiness, you'll create opportunities every day to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet proper nutritional requirements for our young learners.
  • Maintain and track food allergies for each child, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Adhere to proper food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures to ensure a healthy environment.
  • Partner with our Center Leadership team to purchase food and supplies, managing inventory records as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and a positive attitude towards parents and children.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet the daily needs of our childcare center.


Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
  • Possesses a food handling certificate or ability to receive within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
