Location: Tri-State Area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a sanitized and organized surgical processing environment (e.g., storage areas, equipment)
  • Follow established sterilization protocols and procedures
  • Clean each surgical instrument in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Examine instruments for any damage or defects using a microscope; lubricate as necessary
  • Assess the operational condition of each instrument
  • Sort and categorize instruments into appropriate trays based on established protocols
  • Package trays and individual instruments following set guidelines
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong ethical and moral character references
  • Completion of training in sterile techniques and instrument sterilization
  • Experience as a surgical services technician
  • Experience in endoscopic procedures
