Job Title: Delivery Driver Lead

At The Sherwin-Williams Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver Lead to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers from our stores using Company vans or pick-up trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer.
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.
  • Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Support terminal managers in various duties including driving training, maintenance, registration, scheduling, and ordering.
  • Performing other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must have at least one (1) year experience working as a delivery driver.
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products.
  • Have previous work experience conducting driver training.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
