About the Role

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer and tumors through radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Renders medical treatment to patients consistent with generally accepted professional standards.
  • Completes accurate, legible, and timely records with respect to all medical examinations and procedures.
  • Provides after-hours call coverage equally with other physicians of the Practice.
  • Complies with standards of accepted medical practice, managed care organizations, and other payors.
  • Enhances clinical skills by maintaining sufficient continuing medical education.
  • Conducts tests and examinations to confirm diagnoses.
  • Executes radiation treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery.
  • Develops treatment plans comprising therapeutic techniques and drug dosages.
  • Consistently monitors patients' progress.
  • Provides pharmacological treatment and suggests lifestyle changes.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of residency.
  • MD or DO degree with subspecialty training and certification in Radiation Oncology.
  • Prior experience treating and diagnosing cancer patients.
  • Three years of experience post-residency with consultations, CT simulations, treatment planning, and follow-up.
