About the RoleSolaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer and tumors through radiation therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Renders medical treatment to patients consistent with generally accepted professional standards.
- Completes accurate, legible, and timely records with respect to all medical examinations and procedures.
- Provides after-hours call coverage equally with other physicians of the Practice.
- Complies with standards of accepted medical practice, managed care organizations, and other payors.
- Enhances clinical skills by maintaining sufficient continuing medical education.
- Conducts tests and examinations to confirm diagnoses.
- Executes radiation treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery.
- Develops treatment plans comprising therapeutic techniques and drug dosages.
- Consistently monitors patients' progress.
- Provides pharmacological treatment and suggests lifestyle changes.
- Successful completion of residency.
- MD or DO degree with subspecialty training and certification in Radiation Oncology.
- Prior experience treating and diagnosing cancer patients.
- Three years of experience post-residency with consultations, CT simulations, treatment planning, and follow-up.
