**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Application Scientist to join our team, responsible for preparing, blending, developing, and formulating solutions in response to project requests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and a proven track record of providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop technical solutions to customer-driven and marketing-driven food and beverage projects from bench-top to commercial scale levels.
  • Provide technical and application support to customers, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring timely fulfillment of project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical, Sales, Customer Care, Quality, and Operations, to drive project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant food and beverage industry trends, ensuring compliance with regulations governing colors and ingredients.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality requirements, suggesting improvements to enhance site safety and reporting incidents/accidents to management.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related area from a four-year college or university.
  • 2-5 years related experience or training in the food industry, with a focus on color/ingredient applications, customer presentations, and program/system planning.
  • Experience with statistical reporting/analysis and cost/benefit analysis is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery.
  • US Citizen.
