About the Job:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Red Bluff, California. As a healthcare professional with expertise in speech therapy, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' communication needs and develop tailored treatment plans to address these needs.
- Therapy Sessions: Deliver high-quality speech therapy sessions to patients of all ages, from infants to adults, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication among team members.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including treatment plans, outcomes, and any relevant observations or concerns.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Earned from an accredited university program in Speech-Language Pathology.
- State Licensure**: Possess current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California.
- ASHA Certification**: Hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible for certification.
- Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a clinical setting.
