Position Overview
In this role, you will utilize your expertise to conduct waived and moderate complexity laboratory assessments, maintain equipment, and adhere to quality control and assurance protocols.

You will execute all responsibilities associated with a Clinical Lab Assistant II or Clinical Lab Assistant III with exceptional skill, which may encompass phlebotomy, specimen preparation, administrative tasks, and specialized collection methods based on operational needs.

You will work independently with minimal oversight.

Essential Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must fulfill one of the following criteria:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year as a Clinical Lab Assistant III, Technical Lab Assistant III, or Laboratory Specimen Technician III at TriCore.
  • An Associate's Degree in biological and chemical sciences with at least two (2) years of pertinent experience.
  • A total of four (4) years of combined relevant experience and education, including at least one (1) year of applicable experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree with coursework in biological and chemical sciences.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Depending on the operational location, a satisfactory score on an alphanumeric typing test may be necessary (4,000 – 5,999 keystrokes).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completion of a relevant Clinical Lab Assistant program or an equivalent educational path.
