We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Periodontal Care Specialist to join our team at Affinity Dental Management. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care in a specialized periodontic setting.
Responsibilities- Welcome and seat patients in a welcoming and professional environment
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures
- Update patients' health history and provide oral hygiene education
- Perform scaling, root planing, and fluoride application
- Identify periodontal and restorative issues; facilitate dentist's treatment recommendations
- Conduct head, neck, and oral cancer exams
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures
- Schedule appropriate follow-up appointments
- Maintain a clean and organized dental lab
- Adhere to safety and OSHA guidelines as well as office standards
- Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
- MA state dental hygiene license
- CPR certification
- 1-year dental experience, preferred
- Certification in anesthesia, preferred
- Proficiency with scaling and root planing (SRP), preferred
- Competitive Pay: $43-50/hour
