Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printer Specialist to join our team at Intellyk Inc. As a key member of our print production team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of press equipment and finishing machines to produce high-quality prints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate digital press equipment, including Xerox DocuTecs and Rizzos, to produce high-quality black and white prints.
  • Set up and operate finishing equipment, such as stitch and trim machines, desktop power folders, and guillotines, to complete print jobs.
  • Inspect prints for accuracy and quality, and prepare them for delivery.
  • Complete job tracking logs, POD orders, and print POs accurately and on a daily basis.
  • Provide quotes for simple black and white print jobs and use the pricing grid for established core color jobs.
  • Monitor paper inventory and notify supervisor if paper stock or supplies need to be ordered.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced printing environment.
  • Digital press experience with Xerox DocuTecs or Rizzos, or comparable equipment.
  • Knowledge of Xerox Free Flow Software or industry make-ready software equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively with people, under stress and deadlines, and to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Ability to be flexible in scheduling to ensure all work is completed by established deadline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
