Key Responsibilities:
- Must possess prior experience in long-term care or senior living environments.
- Deliver and support the highest standard of nutritional care to residents, addressing their overall needs.
- Assess nutritional requirements, set objectives, and implement medical nutrition therapy based on residents' nutritional profiles.
- Develop effective strategies to introduce innovative programs that promote optimal clinical nutrition and favorable financial results.
- Adhere to regulatory standards set by Federal and State agencies, ensuring compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, policies, and CMS guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to provide exceptional nutrition and culinary programs.
- Analyze menu cycles for nutrient content and dietary consistency.
- Support quality assurance initiatives within the kitchen.
- Implement Health & Wellness programs.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities to foster improvements in nursing and kitchen management.
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care and as a Registered Dietitian.
- Educational Requirement - Bachelor's Degree.
- Functional Experience - Meets the eligibility criteria for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
