Metal Fabrication Quality Lead

We are looking for an experienced Metal Fabrication Quality Lead to join our team at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions. This role involves leading the quality assurance team and ensuring that all production parts and components meet the required standards.
Estimated Salary: $40,000-$55,000 per year, based on experience.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance, a degree in a related field, and familiarity with IATF 16949 and statistical process control.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to inspectors and other team members.
- Develop and implement quality control objectives and coordinate with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and customer quality issues.
- Monitors process capability and ensures ISO/IATF 16949 compliant calibration system.
Requirements
- Minimum AA/AS degree in a related discipline, BA/BS preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 and statistical process control.
