About the Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic individual to join our team as an Ophthalmic Scribe. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in documenting patient information and history, conducting routine and ancillary patient testing, and supporting our doctors in diagnosing and treating eye disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient charts and rooms for exams based on physician requirements and preferences.
  • Document patient information, testing, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, prescriptions, follow-ups, and consultations/referrals.
  • Educate patients on testing, procedures, prescription instructions, and other relevant information.
  • Perform accurate ophthalmic procedures and testing, including auto-refraction, visual acuity, tonometry, and more.
