Job Responsibilities

  • Safely Operate a Garbage Truck: Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Read Route Sheets and Service Customers: Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Perform Routine Vehicle Inspections: Perform routine post and pre-route inspections on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
  • Interact with Customers: Have professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Perform Miscellaneous Job-Related Duties: Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL: Possess a valid Class A or B CDL, with a clean driving record and at least 1 year of local CDL route driving experience.
