Job Summary
The Tournament Security Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our tournament facilities. This position requires a high level of vigilance and attention to detail, ensuring that all areas are secure and free from potential threats.

  • Maintain the security of our tournament buildings, grounds, maintenance, and lodging facilities against fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
  • Ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are secure and functioning properly.
  • Patrol regularly to monitor the premises and identify potential security risks.
  • Respond promptly to any security incidents or concerns, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to security and risk management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and take corrective action.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any unusual activity.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare reports for management.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on security procedures and best practices.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and requires frequent walking, standing, and sitting. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds and have good vision and hearing. An essential function of the job is to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations. Travel is not expected for this position, but some overnight travel may be required.
