Position Summary

The role of a Gallery Consultant at Blasius, Inc. involves welcoming and educating visitors about the advantages of our products, ensuring they feel confident and satisfied with their purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the gallery's appearance during operational hours and events.
• Welcome and assist guests effectively.
• Provide comprehensive information on the benefits of Blasius products.
• Offer design solutions tailored to guests' project needs.
• Stay informed about the latest Blasius offerings.
• Ensure samples and refreshments are available for guests.
• Document detailed notes from homeowner visits for dealers.
• Share dealer information with potential customers.
• Relay dealer lead information to the Regional Residential Sales Manager.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Regional Residential Sales Manager, which may include direct sales.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:

• Education/Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with interpersonal problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Mathematical Skills: Critical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard office software.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical activities.

Work Environment

This position requires adaptability to constant changes and routine use of standard office equipment. A high level of safety awareness is expected at all times.

Complexity of Duties

Schedule Requirements

The general work schedule consists of first shift hours, totaling up to 25 hours per week, with gallery hours subject to change based on management scheduling.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel to other galleries, home shows, or events may be necessary.
