Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst position is integral to finance operational business collaboration.

This role primarily emphasizes overseeing revenue forecasting and reporting, product and service costing, inventory assessment, cost analysis, S&OP support, working capital oversight, and critical project assistance.

Key Responsibilities


Collaborate with business development and local operations teams to report on forecasting volumes and actuals, sales figures, net revenues, and contributions, while gaining insights into variances and their underlying causes.

Assist the business development team in assessing strategic pricing and contracting proposals, including profitability and credit evaluations.
Manage the financial components of sales and net revenue forecasting meetings and related reporting.

Support the timely and accurate completion of monthly operating reports to ensure financial objectives are achieved, including asset utilization assessments.

Oversee the final review of customer invoicing and maintain accurate records of Net Revenue history.
Conduct monthly analyses of cost of sales and other manufacturing variances.
Complete assigned month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely reconciliations for all inventories, including finished goods and work-in-progress.
Assist in managing the site's working capital, particularly concerning inventory management.
Provide financial insights and support for the S&OP process related to commercial activities and clinical services.
Generate various key performance indicator reports and conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by management.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and three-year plans.
Help prepare supporting schedules and documentation for annual audits, physical inventories, and monthly cycle counts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or development context.
A solid understanding of GAAP and the general ledger system is essential.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and engage with all organizational levels is required.
Strong technical and analytical skills with an intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office are necessary.
Familiarity with an enterprise or ERP system is advantageous.
