Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team at Reddy Ice. As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for delivering ice to customers in articulated vehicles, operating in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a clean company truck, adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Unload, deliver, and rotate ice at customer locations, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform pre/post trip inspections, comply with hours of service requirements, and operate the vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Participate in the Daily Visual Management process, reviewing results with other drivers.
  • Produce invoices for each delivery and complete all required paperwork.
  • Responsible for the safe operation, working condition, and inventory of all driver tools.
  • Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
  • Pick up equipment as directed.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL driver's license.
  • Three years of previous route delivery driver experience preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate.
  • Basic math skills and exceptional customer relations skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to drive in stressful environments, unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers, and work in all weather conditions.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs throughout the day.
