Labor and Delivery Supervisor RN Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Labor and Delivery Supervisor RN to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a Labor and Delivery Supervisor RN, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Labor and Delivery nurses to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide guidance and support to nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Requirements:
  • Active CA State Registered Nurse License.
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of charge nurse experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Minimum 1 year of Supervisor experience in L&D.
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
