Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Lineman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining aerial telecommunications systems, including aerial and underground facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of electricity, pole-line materials, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and install aerial telecommunications systems, including aerial and underground facilities
  • Place and remove utility poles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Operate mechanized equipment, such as bucket trucks and digger derricks, to perform tasks safely and efficiently
  • Set up safety perimeters and ensure compliance with separation and clearance regulations
  • Plan and initiate projects, working closely with customers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results
  • Trim trees and clear routes to ensure safe access to telecommunications infrastructure
  • Interact with customers, utility owners, and governmental officials to represent Congruex LLC in a professional and positive manner
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the company's overall performance
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order
  • Perform physical tasks required to complete day-to-day operations, including working at heights and in challenging weather conditions
  • Travel overnight to various sites as required
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, and safety protocols
  • Valid Driver's License (unrestricted)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • General knowledge of construction practices and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact with the crew, leadership, and clients
  • Ability to function effectively as an integral part of a team
  • Meet physical demands, including lifting and moving 50 to 150 pounds
  • Ability to perform all work outdoors, subject to inclement weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
  • CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain one
  • OSHA certification
