Colorist Assistant

At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Colorist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, supporting our Licensed Colorists, and learning the skills necessary to become a Licensed Colorist in 3-9 months.

• Assist Licensed Colorists in providing seamless guest experiences, including consultations, hair color services, and product sales.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Madison Reed's hair color products, services, and systems.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators, including retail sales, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing average service tickets, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care products.

• Active cosmetology license in the state of employment.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, with a preference for salon or beauty industry experience.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
