Job Description:

Carolinas Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Transportation Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo. Your duties will include:

  • Operating a vehicle in a safe and orderly manner
  • Completing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Fueling and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle
  • Maintaining accurate trip records and assisting passengers as required
  • Communicating effectively via radio and exercising independent judgment in handling unusual situations

Requirements:

  • Valid North Carolina driver's license
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a physical exam and pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to obtain a CDL if necessary
  • Ability to certify in special needs assistance training, defensive driver training, CPR, and first aid
  • Clean driving record and ability to perform all duties associated with operating a vehicle
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and observe all traffic laws
  • Courteous and dependable demeanor, with the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds

Working Conditions:
