Kkla is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Worship Ministry Leader to enhance our worship experience. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with our Senior Pastor to design services that are engaging, impactful, and centered on Christ.

Potential for Full-Time Position: For candidates with experience in outreach or youth leadership, this role may transition into a full-time position with additional responsibilities and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Senior Pastor, staff, and ministry volunteers to foster a worshipful environment that integrates music, scripture, prayer, and artistic expression.
• Exemplify and lead heartfelt worship in an inviting manner that encourages participation and directs focus towards Jesus.
• Organize Sunday worship services, selecting music that resonates with our congregation and complements the preaching of God's Word.
• Plan and coordinate special worship events in alignment with the church calendar and congregational needs.
• Recruit and mentor musicians within the church to serve the community with skill and humility.
• Conduct rehearsals that prepare for Sunday services and nurture a Christ-centered community.
• Actively participate as a member of the ministerial team at Kkla, demonstrating commitment to the congregation and its mission.
• Oversee or lead children's choir and band activities.
• Engage actively in the community life of the church as a staff member.

Practical Duties:

• Coordinate weekly worship teams, including sound, musicians, and other service elements.
• Maintain necessary licenses and permissions for music usage.
• Organize and manage sheet music, chord charts, and musical equipment.

Qualifications:

• A degree in music, theology, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading worship services is desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and vocal performance is required.
• Familiarity with various music styles, including traditional and contemporary.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Capacity to lead and engage a congregation in worship effectively.
• A deep passion for worshiping God in all aspects of life.
• This is a part-time position requiring 20-25 hours per week.
• Compensation ranges from $40,000 to $50,000 annually, based on experience.
