At UNC Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Maternal Fetal Medicine department, you'll play a vital role in improving the health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate diagnostic medical equipment to expose complex diagnostic conditions
  • Perform and communicate results of diagnostic examinations for various ob/gyn scanning procedures
  • Assist radiologists in performing invasive diagnostic techniques
  • Provide standardization and training to residents
  • Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and record anatomical, pathological, and physiological data
  • Analyze sonography findings and provide comprehensive exam results
Requirements:
  • Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program
  • ARDMS Registered in OB and OB GYN and Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
