Job Summary: SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and specialty care to patients in an outpatient setting
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Prescribe medications and order medical treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of internal medicine
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant
- Experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably in internal medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
