About the Role

The Concessions Cashier is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. As a Concessions Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every guest has a positive and memorable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quick, friendly, and efficient service to guests, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Restock supplies, maintain inventory, and perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and exceed guest expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in food service, customer service, and hospitality.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Food and beverage experience a plus, but not required.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
