Commercial Underwriting Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Casualty Production Underwriter to join our Great Lakes team at King's Insurance Staffing. This role will focus on underwriting and pricing new and renewal Commercial Casualty business within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market.

• Assess individual risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for complex surplus lines commercial property and casualty policies.
• Develop, analyze, and evaluate information to identify exposures and make well-informed underwriting decisions.
• Maintain strong relationships with producers, assisting in client retention and achieving mutual business growth.
• Achieve established production and loss ratio targets for the assigned regional territory.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive landscape to drive new business opportunities.

• 5+ years experience in Commercial Casualty underwriting, preferably in the surplus lines/E&S market.
• Production Underwriting and/or Territory Marketing experience required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• $140,000 to $180,000+ annual base salary plus lucrative production bonus.
