Job Summary

The University of Arkansas is seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). As a clinical staff member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients to rooms, triage patients, gather medical and health history, chief complaints, and enter all information in the EMR related to the visit.
  • Assist physician with tests and procedures, administer medications and vaccines, disseminate educational materials, assess incoming patients, clean and stock exam rooms and supply room area, keep medical supply inventory, and provide direct patient care under supervision of physician.
  • Work with Care Managers to best serve the needs of patients.
Qualifications
  • High School, GED, or formal educational equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • One year of LPN experience, or new grad with relevant clinical experience.
  • Current and valid Arkansas Practical Nurse License.
