Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Saint Francis Medical Center - Lynwood. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data.
  • Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for each procedure.
  • Monitor par levels of all instruments and supplies.
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
  • Assist in training new staff members.
  • Support all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R and state license or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
  • Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab is preferred.
  • Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained current.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficient computer skills.
Schedule
  • On-call shifts are required.
  • Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts.
Additional Requirements
  • Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, is required.
  • Valid Picture ID (State Driver's License, Passport, or State ID Card) is required.
  • Current photo ID is required.
