Job Title: Nurse Navigator

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as a Nurse Navigator for our Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplant program.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Navigator will play a vital role in guiding patients and their families through the complexities of the allogeneic transplant journey. This includes coordinating clinical services, managing multiple electronic platforms, and maintaining precise and organized records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support physicians, advanced practitioners, program nurses, research staff, and processing technologists in the orchestration of high-risk, highly sophisticated clinical services.
  • Assist in the coordination of allogeneic transplant, including pre-transplant work-up, medical clearance, and admission.
  • Collaborate with the Transplant Search Coordinator to initiate Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) typing for recipients and potential donors.
  • Work with the Transplant Search Coordinator and NMDP Case Manager to facilitate National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) unrelated donor workups.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for MGH clinicians, advanced practice providers, lab technologists, social work staff, and quality management.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case review meetings and maintain precise and organized records.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Massachusetts.
  • At least two years of Hematopoietic Cell Therapy experience.
  • Organized and able to communicate clearly with patients, family, and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a job share partner to maintain clear tracking and records of the patient journey.
  • Ability to learn multiple electronic platforms.
