Job Summary
We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a PCT, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work under the supervision of a RN in a cross-functional team of clinicians
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical and mental ability to work on your feet for extended periods
