Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at Banner Wyoming Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services in our 27-bed Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Deliver high-quality patient education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to manage their conditions effectively.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families, fostering a positive and compassionate care environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Wyoming.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patients.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
