Mixology Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixology Specialist to join our team at Charlestowne Hotels. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, crafting signature cocktails, and offering recommendations on our local craft beers and wines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines
• Interact with guests, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service
• Assess guests' preferences and make recommendations on drinks and menu items
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies as needed
• Stay up-to-date on drink trends and recipes, and participate in menu planning and development
• Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of classic cocktails and mixology techniques
• Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Participate in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures, including operating a point-of-sale system

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of mixology techniques and ingredients
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
• Computer literacy and experience with point-of-sale systems
• Relevant training or certification in mixology or a related field
