Seasonal Sales Associate Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized customer engagement and serve as a one-stop resource for customers, offering relevant product, community, and activity-based knowledge and recommendations.
  • Achieve sales and productivity goals by utilizing available resources to meet customer needs.
  • Assist in executing and maintaining visual directives and standards, including merchandise presentation, housekeeping, and product replenishment.
  • Assume cashier duties as needed and assist in executing all Loss Prevention initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall visual and operational maintenance of the store.

Requirements:

Required:
  • Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate, work as a team, and be adaptable in the workplace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge, experience, and/or willingness to learn about products, activities, and community relevant to the store's customer base.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to stand and frequently to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, or controls, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb and balance. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Hiring Range:
$15.12 USD - $22.68 USD per hour

Minimum Start Rate:
$16.13

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
