We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Bushwick Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Brooklyn, NY.
About the Role:
As a Wound Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents with complex wound needs. Your duties will include:
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the wound care needs of our residents.
- Wound Management: Provide expert wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and debridement of wounds.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor residents' progress and document all care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to residents and their families on wound care and related topics.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current RN license in the State of New York.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Wound and ostomy certification.
- Solid computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
