Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic II will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
  • Exercise and promote safety protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience as a heavy industrial millwright and/or maintenance mechanical technician; at least 5 years of experience as a welding/fabricating technician skilled in SMAW, MIG, and TIG
  • Aerial lift certification; Confined spaces certification; Crane certification; Fall protection certification; Forklift certification; Hot workers certification; Lock-out/Tag-out certification; Pallet jack certification

Working Conditions:

  • 3rd shift - Weekdays Nights: M-W one week and M-Th the next 7p-7a or Weekend Nights: Th-Su one week and Fr-Su the next week 7p-7a
