Weekend Production Associate

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Weekend Production Associate to join our team at Perdue Foods. As a Weekend Production Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of poultry products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in Company and department safety programs.

**Requirements:**

  • High School or equivalent not required but beneficial.
  • Worked a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.
  • Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment preferred.

**Work Environment:**

When in a plant environment, you will be exposed to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces. You may be exposed to temperatures ranging from 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. You may handle product at temperatures between 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. You may be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. You may be exposed to dust, feathers, and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facilities. You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm. You will be able to stand for several hours and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, and push boxes on a conveyor assembly.
