Job Description

The Director of Clinical Operations and Quality Assurance is a key leadership position at Glia Health Management LLC, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and development of our clinics. This role ensures that our organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction to Clinic Managers and other employees under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations and Quality Assurance.
  • Operational Oversight: Responsible for the following areas within the clinic - Patient Access Representatives, Medical Records, Medical Billing Specialists, Medical Assistants, Nursing, & Neurodiagnostic staff.
  • Quality Improvement: Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with Glia Health Management LLC's mission and vision, emphasizing quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Recruiting and Hiring: Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring and training efforts as needed by the department(s).
  • Staff Development: Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including providing career development planning and opportunities and support through challenging interdepartmental issues that might arise.
  • Payroll and Scheduling: Develops, organizes and oversees the work and schedules of centralized teams staff. Assist in processing payroll, time off request for staff within the department(s).
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare and administration or a healthcare-related field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the healthcare field. 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse preferred, with an active California State Board of Nursing License.
