Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a D diagnostic imaging specialist to join the team at Ironside Human Resources.

About the Role:

• This position involves managing orders from in-house and outside providers, performing quality checks on x-ray equipment, cleaning and disinfecting it, as well as conducting monthly maintenance.
• The radiologic technologist will be responsible for preparing the room and equipment, explaining procedures to patients, assisting with positioning, and following techniques for administering x-rays and developing films.
• Key responsibilities include observing patients during procedures, reporting unusual occurrences, maintaining supplies, and operating mobile x-ray units in various locations.
• This role requires technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• A 2-year certificate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology is required.
• The candidate must be licensed by the State of Nebraska.
• A.R.R.T. registration is also necessary.
