Job Description

Airworthiness Inspector A&P Specialist

Gulfstream is seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Inspector A&P Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft components and repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Control Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components and repairs to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Gulfstream's quality standards.
  2. Aircraft Documentation: Review and verify accuracy of all aircraft documentation, including maintenance records and repair certifications.
  3. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with our avionics and interior installation teams to ensure seamless integration of components and repairs.
  4. Training and Development: Mentor technicians on effective documentation and quality control procedures.
  5. Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with FAR Part 145 and the FAA accepted site Repair Station and Quality Control Manual.
Requirements:
  1. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; Airframe and Powerplant License required; 4 years aircraft experience on large/mid-size aircraft.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills; ability to work all shifts; ability to climb ladders and stairs; ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
