Sedgwick is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing world-class customer service and service delivery to our clients and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Process referrals in the delivery of medical goods and services, ensuring timely and accurate communication with patients, vendors, and claims adjusters.
- Procure vendor partners for each referral, ensuring that each referral is deemed medically necessary and approved by the claim's adjuster.
- Confirm all required and relevant billing information exists in each referral, moving those referrals to be billed each day.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the organization's quality program(s).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to meet minimum typing requirements.
- Clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- A comprehensive training program with a curriculum designed to support your career growth.
