Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate baler machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality baled textiles for sale.
  2. Sort and package various items to support KARM and affiliated ministries.
  3. Opportunity to become forklift certified; certified employees must ensure proper labeling and weighing of processed bales.
  4. Participate in cross-training to ensure all tasks within the wholesale department are completed.

Qualifications

  1. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.

  3. Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  4. Ability to adapt to changing tasks and multitask effectively.
  5. Understanding of stacking, wrapping, and storing pallets of various materials.

  7. Exhibit excellent ergonomic practices in lifting, bending, and other physical activities.

Physical Requirements

This position involves a high level of physical activity, including:

  • Standing for up to 100% of the workday
  • Walking for up to 75% of the workday
  • Using hands for various tasks throughout the workday
  • Lifting and bending for up to 75% of the workday

Manual Dexterity: Must be able to drive, lift boxes, grip textiles, wrap pallets, and type effectively.
