This position requires independent work on client job sites, necessitating strong coordination with clients and subcontractors. You will often serve as the senior field supervisor, responsible for delegating tasks and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

Decision-Making Authority:
As a Senior Installation Technician, you will frequently make independent decisions on-site, requiring sound judgment and diplomacy when interacting with clients and team members.

Physical Requirements:
The role involves exposure to construction environments, requiring adherence to safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment. Physical tasks may include standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting materials up to 40 pounds.

Travel Requirements:
This position involves frequent travel to job sites, necessitating a valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for local travel. Remote travel may also be required occasionally.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an installation technician or in a related field.
  • Experience with LED video wall installations.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing teams or projects.
  • Preferred certifications include AVIXA CTS and CTS-I.
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with a broad range of audio, video, and networking technologies.
  • Understanding of low voltage electrical principles.
  • Advanced carpentry and installation capabilities.
  • Proficient in the safe use of power tools.
