Job Title: Skilled LPN Specialist

Salary Range: $38-$58 per hour in Ellington, Connecticut. Our competitive pay is higher than the average rate in the area, offering a stable income for dedicated professionals.

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at IntelyCare. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality post-acute care to residents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring residents' physical and mental wellbeing, tracking vital signs, and performing resident intakes, documenting health concerns and medical histories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental wellbeing, tracking vital signs
  • Performing resident intakes, documenting health concerns and medical histories
  • Reviewing medical records and charts
  • Properly administering and verifying medications
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of medical supplies
  • Contributing to a safe, comfortable environment for residents
  • Assisting with IV setup, vaccinations, and phlebotomies
  • Following and adhering to care plans for residents
  • Helping medical staff with orientation and training

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Connecticut state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Completion of an approved LPN educational program
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience (LPN or similar role)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
