Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a travel nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a top-rated hospital in Lima, Ohio.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours of work per week. The shift will be 12 hours long, working nights.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU environment
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient plans
  • Monitor and manage complex medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease, respiratory failure, and neurological disorders
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and conduct diagnostic tests as ordered by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams
Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Ohio
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical-Surgical RN
  • BLS certification and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package that includes:

  • A base pay rate of $$100/hour, which translates to approximately $120,000 annually
