About the Role

Eide Bailly is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for preparing income tax returns for small to mid-sized businesses, including corporate, partnership, and individual returns. You will work closely with staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns, and will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring staff to enhance their skills and further develop their careers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare income tax returns for small to mid-sized businesses, including corporate, partnership, and individual returns.
  • Work with staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
  • Coach and mentor staff to enhance their skills and further develop their careers.
  • Gather relevant tax-related information from clients to ensure accurate tax returns.
  • Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure maximum tax benefit is applied.
  • Network and build relationships with clients to attract new business for the firm.
  • Bill clients for services and guidance provided.

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent Certification.
  • 5-7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to notice issues and bring solutions to the table.
  • Pride in helping others and ability to lead a team of high-performing individuals.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries.
