We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Wesley Long Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and ensure positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care to patients in our Progressive Care Unit, ensuring that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
- Analyze patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition.
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
- Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Evaluate patient response to interventions and identify any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred)
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (or 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations preferred)
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
