Position Overview

This role encompasses the southern region of Monroe/Northeast Louisiana extending to Southeast Arkansas. Candidates with a background in Healthcare Marketing or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Service Development Representative plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing comprehensive business and marketing strategies for the facility. This position is tasked with establishing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at fulfilling the facility's goals. Additionally, the representative is responsible for overseeing the marketing department's budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering insights from referring professionals or facilities.
  • Engaging with prospective patients and conducting pre-admission evaluations as a liaison between the referral source and the hospital.
  • Assisting patients and families with alternative care options.
  • Communicating the outcomes of the pre-screening process and recommendations to patients, families, and referral sources in accordance with company policies.

This position is actively involved in community service development. The representative is available for consultative support and provides educational resources throughout the month. Furthermore, the Service Development Representative advocates for mental health awareness and prevention.

Building and maintaining positive relationships with community resources and networks is essential to ensure a seamless continuum of care and foster collaborative partnerships. The ultimate objective of this role is to enhance the overall quality of life for all mental health patients referred to the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Marketing or Business Development is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales or Development within the healthcare or medical industry is required, with a focus on healthcare being essential.
