Job Responsibilities:

As a School Bus Driver at VAT Inc., you will be responsible for:

  • Safely Transporting Students: Ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle integrity.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any incidents or concerns to supervisors, prioritizing passenger safety.
  • Cleanliness and Orderliness: Uphold cleanliness and orderliness within the vehicle, creating a pleasant environment for passengers.

Requirements:

To qualify for this opportunity, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a GED or High School diploma.
  • Pass an annual T-8 and DOT physical, along with a DOT drug screen.
  • Maintain a clean BCI and FBI record meeting ODE regulations.
  • Have no more than 2 points on your driving record and no DUI convictions.
  • Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, ensuring you can assist passengers as needed.
