Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist Reg to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience working with computed tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify proper clinician orders for procedures and obtain complete clinical histories
  • Assess patients for contraindicating conditions and follow established procedures for contrast media administration
  • Ensure proper patient identification and marker usage for all studies
  • Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
  • Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
  • Assist other technologists in all modalities as needed

Requirements:

  • ARRT Radiography certification
  • ARRT Computed Tomography certification
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
  • Preferred experience in CT

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to function independently and under pressure
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Competent in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection

Education:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
